Three read-only JSON endpoints and a CSV for scripts, spreadsheets and AI agents: the Kalshi KXBTC15M window trading now, DegenHedge's graded alert record by entry price, and Kalshi's taker fee for any price and size with its exact rounding. They return the same figures as our tools and results log. None of them returns a prediction or a signal.
Machine-readable description: /openapi.json (OpenAPI 3.1). Plain-text site summary for assistants: /llms.txt.
| GET | Returns | Cached |
|---|---|---|
/api/btc-window | The KXBTC15M window trading now: ticker, open and close time, official strike (or null until Kalshi posts it), Up/Down asks and bids in cents, Kalshi's live fee schedule for the series, a spot reference. Kalshi public data only. | 5 s |
/api/record | Our graded BTC alert record, overall and by entry price: signals, wins, losses, win rate with a Wilson 95% interval, average entry, breakeven before and after a one-contract fee, data-through date. | 5 min |
/api/kalshi-fee?price=95&contracts=10 | Kalshi's taker fee for that order (price in cents), total cost, profit if it wins, loss if it loses, breakeven win rate. Add &maker=true for a resting order. | 10 min |
/results.csv | The full graded log, every product, losses and exclusions included. | 5 min |
/openapi.json | OpenAPI 3.1 description of all of the above. | 1 h |
Base URL https://degenhedge.com. Every JSON response sends Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *, so a browser page can call it directly. Over the limit you get HTTP 429 with a JSON body; wait a minute.
/api/btc-windowcurl -s https://degenhedge.com/api/btc-window
Fields include ticker, open_time, close_time, strike (Kalshi's floor strike: the 60-second CF Benchmarks BRTI average before the window opened), yes_ask_cents (Up) and no_ask_cents (Down), fee (Kalshi's live fee type and multiplier for KXBTC15M) and kalshi_url. When Kalshi's data cannot be read, available is false. An ask is the cheapest offer at that moment and can move before you trade. It is the same snapshot the live window page shows.
/api/recordcurl -s https://degenhedge.com/api/record
Right now the record is 91.2% across 11,851 graded alerts at a 91.7¢ average entry. A contract bought at that price has to win that often just to return the stake, so the record sits below breakeven before Kalshi's fee and further below after it.
That is why the endpoint never returns a win rate on its own: overall and every row of by_entry_price carry avg_entry_cents, breakeven_before_fees_pct, breakeven_after_1contract_fee_pct and win_rate_minus_breakeven_before_fees_pts (negative means below breakeven), plus a one-sentence summary. Please quote them together.
What counts: every alert sent to subscribers with a usable 1 to 99 cent entry, graded against Kalshi's official result, losses included. Rows with a price-capture error, a 100-cent entry or that were never sent are shown in results.csv as EXCLUDED and counted in excluded_rows_disclosed_in_csv, never dropped. The figures are computed from the same CSV the results page uses and are checked against the site's live totals (ties_out_with_stats). Buckets match the fees and breakeven study.

Kalshi's taker fee is 0.07 × contracts × P × (1 − P), with P in dollars, computed to a millionth of a dollar (rounded up) and then rounded up to the next whole cent for the order. Ten contracts at 95¢ therefore pay 4¢ in total, and the win rate needed to break even rises from 95% to 95.4%. price is in cents (95 means 95¢); between 10¢ and 90¢ it is rounded to a whole cent, as Kalshi quotes it. KXBTC15M charges no maker fee, and the endpoint re-checks Kalshi's series record and warns in notes if that changes. The arithmetic is identical to the fee calculator, down to the rounding.
The same three reads are available to AI agents as a remote Model Context Protocol server.
| Endpoint | https://degenhedge.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, POST, no auth) |
|---|---|
| Tools | get_btc_window, get_graded_record, kalshi_fee (all read-only) |
| Protocol versions | 2026-07-28 (per-request metadata, server/discover) and the initialize-based 2025-03-26, 2025-06-18 and 2025-11-25 |
| Registry name | com.degenhedge/kalshi-btc |
Any client that accepts a remote MCP server URL (for example a custom connector) can add https://degenhedge.com/mcp; no key or sign-in is needed. A quick check from a terminal:
npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector --cli https://degenhedge.com/mcp --transport http --method tools/list
Every tool result carries the same disclaimer as the JSON endpoints, and the record tool always returns the win rate together with its average entry price and breakeven.
There is also a paid BTC 15-minute live feed on Telegram: our model's read beside the live Kalshi price, about two minutes before each window closes, on most windows, every call graded in public. It is sold as coverage and speed, not as a price advantage, because the record above sits below breakeven. Free for 30 days, then $4.99/mo โ
This is a free trial that becomes an automatically renewing subscription. A payment card is required to start, and you are not charged today. Your trial runs 30 days. At the end of it your card is charged $4.99 and then $4.99 every month until you cancel. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you pay nothing: use your account page, send /manage in the bot, or email [email protected]. Cancelling later stops future renewals at the end of the current paid month and does not refund it. No refunds except as required by law. These are 15-minute binary prediction-market contracts. Any single window can lose 100% of your stake. They settle on a 60-second index average, not on the exchange chart you may be watching. At high prices a loss costs many times what a win pays, and Kalshi's fee raises the win rate you need above the price. Nothing on this page is financial, investment, or betting advice.
