Is DegenHedge Legit? Who Runs It, What It Costs, How to Check It

Short answer

DegenHedge is a real, small subscription service run by EPWH, LLC, a Rhode Island limited liability company. It sends Telegram alerts for Kalshi's 15-minute Bitcoin markets and publishes the result of every alert, losses included, so you can check it yourself. It is information, not advice: it never holds your money, never places trades and never connects to your Kalshi account.

Legit is not the same as profitable. Our Bitcoin record sits below the breakeven its prices imply, before fees and further below after them, and any single alert can lose its whole stake.

Who runs it

DegenHedge is a service of EPWH, LLC, a Rhode Island limited liability company. Payments go through Stripe, and the inbox is [email protected]. We keep the focus on the public record rather than on a personality: the thing worth checking is the log, and the log is public.

DegenHedge is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kalshi, and it is not a Kalshi product.

What it is, and what it is not

It is information

A Telegram alert feed. About two minutes before most Kalshi Bitcoin 15-minute windows close, it sends our model's read of which side settles, the live Kalshi price for that side and a link to the market.

It is not advice

Informational and entertainment use only. Nothing here is financial, investment or betting advice. What you do with an alert is your decision.

It never touches your money

We do not hold customer funds, place trades or connect to your Kalshi account. If you trade, you trade in your own Kalshi account.

It is not Kalshi

DegenHedge is an independent service, not affiliated with or endorsed by Kalshi. Kalshi runs the markets; we only send alerts about them.

The record is public, losses included

Every alert is logged when it fires and graded against Kalshi's official result when the window settles. Wins and losses go into the results log and a downloadable results.csv, and the same record is available as JSON from /api/record. Nothing is pulled after the fact.

Right now the Bitcoin record is 91.0% won across 13,470 graded alerts at a 91.6 cent average entry price. A contract at that price has to win that often just to break even, so the record sits below breakeven before Kalshi's fee and further below after it.

Our research pages are frozen on dated samples and say so. When we get something wrong we publish a new dated correction instead of quietly editing the old page, for example results log times read one hour late and one backwards sentence in a monthly report. The Bitcoin data is also published as an open dataset on Hugging Face.

Price, trial, renewal and cancelling

How to check us yourself

You do not have to take our word for any of this. The signal service checklist works on any alert seller, us included. The short version for DegenHedge:

What third-party sites show

Trustpilot. We have a business profile on Trustpilot. Anyone can review us there. We do not pay for reviews, filter them or ask only happy customers. The profile is new, so there may be few or no reviews yet.

Scamadviser. Scamadviser runs an automated check on websites, including ours. Its result weighs signals such as how new the domain is, whether the owner's name is hidden in public domain records (ours uses a privacy service, which is common), how much traffic the site gets, and whether the site involves crypto. Those signals describe a new, small, crypto-related site, which is what we are. We do not repeat its score here because it changes; read the page yourself.

Where else we publish. The @DegenHedgeProof Telegram channel, X, YouTube and the open dataset on Hugging Face.

The honest risk

A high hit rate does not mean profit. The favored contracts these alerts point at usually cost close to $1, often 90 to 99 cents, so a win pays a few cents while a loss costs the whole stake. One loss can wipe out many wins, and Kalshi's fee comes off every trade. Most people who trade short-term prediction markets lose money. Our own Bitcoin record sits below the breakeven its prices imply, before fees and further below after them. Treat any alert as entertainment you can afford to lose.

Common questions about DegenHedge

Is DegenHedge legit?

DegenHedge is a real, small subscription service operated by EPWH, LLC, a Rhode Island limited liability company. It sends Telegram alerts for Kalshi markets, bills through Stripe, and publishes every alert's result, losses included, in a public log you can download and check. Legitimate is not the same as profitable: its Bitcoin record sits below the breakeven its entry prices imply, and any alert can lose its whole stake.

Who owns or operates DegenHedge?

EPWH, LLC, a Rhode Island limited liability company. The contact address is [email protected].

Does DegenHedge hold my money or trade for me?

No. DegenHedge never holds customer funds, never places trades and never connects to your Kalshi account. It sends information. You decide whether to trade, in your own Kalshi account.

Is DegenHedge part of Kalshi?

No. DegenHedge is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kalshi.

How much does DegenHedge cost, and how do I cancel?

Each feed is $4.99 a month. Eligible new customers get a 30-day free trial with a card on file; it renews automatically at $4.99 on day 31 and every month after until you cancel. Cancel any time with /manage in the bot, on the account page at degenhedge.com/account/, or by email to [email protected]. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.

Does a high win rate mean DegenHedge makes money?

No. The contracts the alerts point at usually cost close to $1, so a win pays a few cents and a loss costs the whole stake. One loss can erase many wins after fees, and most short-term prediction-market traders lose money. DegenHedge's own Bitcoin record sits below breakeven.

Risk reality: read before acting on anything here

These are 15-minute binary prediction-market contracts. Any single window can lose 100% of your stake. They settle on a 60-second index average, not on the exchange chart you may be watching. At high prices a loss costs many times what a win pays, and Kalshi's fee raises the win rate you need above the price. Nothing on this page is financial, investment, or betting advice.

Past performance does not guarantee future results. Trade only with money you can afford to lose. Must be 18+ or of legal age where you live. If gambling is a problem for you, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
